Kynren Press Preview Event – Saturday 4 July 2026
Launching this summer in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Kynren – The Storied Lands is the UK’s first live-action show park, featuring spectacular shows and immersive experiences set across historically and beautifully themed landscapes.
Invited media will preview a selection of the brand-new daytime shows, followed by the award-winning night show Kynren – An Epic Tale of England.

Experience the Premiere of Kynren – The Storied Lands
- The Lost Feather – More than 250 birds take to the skies in an awe-inspiring story of flight and conservation. Featuring rare and exotic species from Pelicans and Scarlet Ibis to African Great Crowned Cranes and soaring birds of prey.
- Land of the Vikings – Explore a Viking settlement before taking your seat for the show, where warriors clash, sparks fly and fires rage.
- Legend of the Wear – A giant lake becomes the stage for thrilling water stunts and a dramatic retelling of the Lambton Worm legend.
- The Trusty Steed – Medieval Knights charge on horseback as a fearless female warrior proves her courage through daring feats and breathtaking skill.
- Victorian Imaginariums – Meet larger-than-life characters in a meandering outdoor maze full of stories and surprises from the Victorian era.
Selected guests will also be invited to experience the Time Travellers’ Feast, a brand-new immersive dining experience where storytelling, characters and themed dishes inspired by different eras begin the Kynren journey before the night show. (Very Limited Availability)
The evening concludes with Kynren – An Epic Tale of England, the award-winning outdoor night show performed on a vast 7.5-acre stage.
