Th Victorian Imaginariums is more than a place to explore. Surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of Victorian Britain, visitors will find themselves drawn into the action by the people who inhabit its streets.
Exchange gossip with the Society Sisters, encounter a mischievous maid or become entangled in the schemes of a light-fingered rogue. A whispered secret, unexpected commotion or chance meeting could send the adventure in a new direction.
Explore Victorian streets filled with extraordinary detail
More than 40 richly detailed, life-size shops and scenes create a Victorian world that feels lived in, rather than displayed.
Discover the apothecary, pawnbroker, corsetiere, cobbler, blacksmith, schoolroom and sweet shop. See the fashions, toys and everyday objects of the period — and watch out for who you might find inside the traditional corner pub.
Thousands of genuine Victorian artefacts fill the town, alongside period costumes, horse-drawn carriages and an original Victorian fire engine. Even the cobblestones beneath your feet have their own remarkable history.
