Show Information

Experience the story

When a young woman’s father is taken to prison and their land is seized, her world collapses overnight. His final gift to her is a wild horse — fierce, fearful and believed to be untameable.

Alone and with nothing left to lose, she struggles to reach the animal. Force fails. Command fails. But in moments of quiet vulnerability, a fragile understanding begins to grow. Two wounded souls — one human, one animal — start to listen, to breathe, and to trust.

When a travelling troupe of minstrels arrives on their way to a great tournament, the young woman seizes a desperate chance to follow them, hoping to earn enough to buy her father’s freedom. On the road, through hardship and discovery, the bond between horse and rider is tested and strengthened.

At the tournament, under the authority of Bishop Bek, she steps into an arena ruled by knights and tradition. Armed only with courage and the partnership she has forged, she dares to challenge a world that never expected her to stand — let alone ride.

The Trusty Steed is a story of trust, resilience and transformation, where courage is built not through strength, but belief.
