Tickets are on sale now for the North East’s biggest fireworks spectacular – Pyromusical. The ever-popular show returns to Bishop Auckland on Saturday 1st November 2025.

Returning for its seventh year, the unmissable multi-sensory celebration will see fireworks illuminate the night sky above the seven-and-a-half-acre outdoor stage, perfectly timed to a score of captivating music that all ages will enjoy.

The 8,000-seater tribune means all spectators will have an expansive view and a comfy spot for the duration of the 25-minute display. Designed by the pyrotechnics team which produce Kynren – An Epic Tale of England’s spectacular fireworks finale, families can hunker down and enjoy the heart-pounding display, with Auckland Palace set on the hill in the stunning backdrop.

Visitors can expect a breathtaking experience, as they look up to the crisp November night sky and are wowed by the impressive colours, patterns and surprises whilst they listen to music from the past five decades, which is skilfully matched to the beautiful bursts of pyrotechnics.

Anna Warnecke, CEO of Kynren, said: “2024 was another sellout year and we can’t wait to bring back Pyromusical this year for another dazzling and unforgettable event, showcasing the talent and creativity here in Bishop Auckland. Whether you are a returning visitor or are yet to experience the delights of Pyromusical, the evening is a wonderful opportunity to embrace the autumnal season and enjoy a memorable evening with family and friends.”

With toasty fire pits dotted around the park and a pre-show menu featuring warming options like hotdogs, soup, mulled wine, and hot chocolate, visitors can make the most of the cooler and darker evening before taking to their seats for the Pyromusical event.

Gates open from 4:30pm and visitors are advised to arrive before 6:15pm to ensure there is sufficient time to take to their seats before the Pyromusical begins at 7pm.

Tickets are on sale now and are likely to sell out again, so firework fans are advised to secure tickets early to avoid disappointment and missing out on the incredible Pyromusical in Bishop Auckland.

Ticket prices are £13 for adults and £10 for under-18s, with VIP options available at £16 for adults and £13 for under-18s. A shuttle bus service will be available from Bishop Auckland bus station, priced at £3 per person. Children three and under are free when sat on an adult’s knee.
