Join the Cast of Kynren – The Storied Lands 2027
We’re searching for the UK’s most exciting stunt, acrobatic and performance talent to help bring history to life in Kynren – The Storied Lands, the UK’s first live-action show park in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Across five live-action shows and immersive experiences, audiences journey through 2,000 years of British history, myth and legend, brought to life through spectacular stunts, live animals and special effects.
Following its spectacular launch in 2026, The Storied Lands is now entering its second season, building on the success of Kynren – An Epic Tale of England to deliver a unique daytime experience packed with breathtaking action, immersive storytelling and live performance.
Performers can expect full-size, purpose-built sets and stages and large-scale production elements, all combining to create an extraordinary environment in which to perform. Whether you’re a stunt performer, acrobat, actor, horse rider or multi-skilled performer, The Storied Lands offers the opportunity to work at a scale rarely seen in the UK.
We’re Looking For
Professional performers aged 18+ with skills in:
- Acrobatics and parkour
- Stunt work
- Acting and immersive theatre
- Stage Combat
- Horse Riding – Classical Dressage and/or Trick Riding
Successful candidates will be invited to audition by the 11Arches team in late 2026/early 2027. Candidates should be specialised in Combat/Movement, interactive performance OR a combination of skills.
The Opportunity: June – Mid-September 2027
Spend summer 2027 performing in one of the UK’s most ambitious live productions. You’ll be part of a world-class creative team delivering large-scale, action-packed performances seen by thousands each week. Roles are seasonal (From June– mid-September) and can be structured as paid summer contracts or industry placements.
