Kynren Community Access Programme

Helping more people experience Kynren

Kynren is an educational charity dedicated to inspiring audiences through unforgettable live experiences that celebrate history, heritage and culture.

Through our Community Access Programme, we aim to make Kynren accessible to people who may otherwise face barriers to visiting.

As part of the programme, we make a limited number of complimentary tickets available each season for individuals, families and small groups who are supported by registered charities and community organisations. As demand exceeds the number of tickets available, every application is carefully considered, taking into account the information provided and the availability of tickets

FAQs

Who can apply?

Applications are welcomed from organisations including:

  • Registered charities

  • Community and voluntary organisations

  • Hospices and healthcare charities

  • Youth organisations

  • Food banks and organisations supporting people experiencing hardship

  • Organisations supporting carers, veterans or people with disabilities

  • Local authority and social care teams

Applications must be submitted by an organisation on behalf of the people they support.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications directly from individuals or families.

What can organisations apply for?

Eligible organisations can apply for complimentary tickets to:

  • Either experience, depending on availability

A limited number of tickets is available each season and, unfortunately, not every application will be successful.

How applications are considered

Applications are reviewed by Kynren and considered against:

  • The needs of the people who would benefit

  • The positive impact the visit could have

  • Any barriers that may otherwise prevent attendance

  • The number of tickets requested

  • Previous support received through the programme

  • Ticket availability

As we receive significantly more requests than we are able to support, we are unfortunately unable to approve every application.

If your application is successful, we’d love to hear about your visit.

Stories, photographs and feedback help us demonstrate the impact of the Community Access Programme and celebrate the organisations we work with.

If you would like to, after your visit you are welcome to share:

  • A few words about your experience

  • Photographs from your visit (where appropriate permissions have been obtained)

  • Artwork, letters or messages created by those who attended

  • Stories about the difference the visit made

With your permission, these may be featured on our website, social media channels, community pages, newsletters and in reports about our charitable work.
