Kynren is inviting people to help make history at a special Seasonal Job Fair held in Bishop Auckland next month.
Taking place on Wednesday, 8th April from 2.30pm to 7pm, the open event will give visitors the chance to meet the teams behind Kynren and learn about paid roles available for the 2026 season.
This summer sees the launch of Kynren – The Storied Lands, a huge new daytime visitor experience featuring spectacular live shows and immersive attractions celebrating history, myth and legend.
To help deliver unforgettable days out for visitors, organisers are recruiting enthusiastic and hard-working people for a variety of operational roles across the site.
The new park officially opens to visitors on18th July, with staff recruitment and training taking place in the weeks leading up to the launch.
Many of the roles will suit students, school leavers and anyone looking for flexible summer work.
Visitors attending the open day will be able to drop in at any time, meet staff from different departments and find out what it is like to work at one of the region’s most ambitious visitor attractions.
Roles available include positions in catering and hospitality, front of house and retail, cleaning and operations, and show support roles assisting the cavalry and bird teams behind the scenes.
The roles involve helping welcome visitors, supporting live performances and ensuring the park runs smoothly during what promises to be a busy summer season.
Many positions do not require previous experience, with full training provided for successful applicants.
Organisers say they are particularly looking for people who enjoy working with others, bring energy and enthusiasm to their work and take pride in helping visitors have a great day out.
Anyone interested in applying can attend the open day to speak directly with the team, ask questions about roles, shift patterns and training, and either apply on the day or take details to complete an online application later.
